Air Guard Learning Center offers Online Leadership Certificate > Air National Guard > Article View

IG Brown Training and Education Center, TN – An online certificate program released by the Air National Guard’s Primary Learning Center in East Tennessee this week offers service members a new way to train effective and efficient leadership skills.

The IG Brown Training and Education Center, TEC-University ANG Leadership Certificate is available to everyone online at tec.mediashareiq.com as a 12-hour distance learning course, by self-learning.

The program draws on U.S. Air Force enlisted professional military training studies to teach additional leadership concepts drawn from defense and corporate environments.

“This is an important course, especially for members of the National Guard on drill status, because the concepts learned can be used in both military and civilian leadership,” said Larry McCoy, superintendent of pedagogical development at TEC-U.

Once enrolled, students have six months to complete the program, presented in two phases. First, there are six compulsory base classes. Then students select two additional learning blocks – a cornerstone with a score of 70% or higher awards the certificate.

The organization released a marketing video that promotes the certificate program
